The Toronto Maple Leafs are 38-20-9 this year after they lost to the Flyers by a score of 4-3 in their last game. William Nylander has led Toronto with 37 goals, 51 assists, and 267 shots on goal. The projected starting goalie for Toronto is Joseph Woll, who is 9-7-1 this season with a 2.89 goals against average and a .911 save percentage.

Maple Leafs vs Capitals Betting Prediction

Toronto comes into this game in third place in the Atlantic Division, but they are coming off of a loss to the Flyers on Tuesday and will be on a back to back here. Toronto is 20-8-6 on the road, while Washington is 17-10-5 on home ice. The Capitals have won three games in a row and they have allowed a total of four goals in those three wins. Washington has to rely heavily on their defense, as they are one of the lower scoring teams in the NHL this year. I know Toronto has lost two games in a row and is on a back to back, but I like the Leafs on the road and I think they pick up a nice win here.
