Lille had an extra player when Rennais conceded a red card in the 35th minute, and they used it well. Lille scored a leading goal in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Lille conceded a red card, and we were back in the beginning. Rennais scored a tying goal in the 74th minute, and this match ended in a 1-1 draw. Bamba is the only goalscorer so far for Lille. Mandava is suspended because of the red card. Timothy Weah is the only injured player for Lille at the moment. Lille ended the last season on high 4th place, just 1 point away from the Champions League, but as a consolation, Lille will play in the Europa League this season. Defensively, Lille was one of the best teams in Ligue 1 last season, and their ambitions this season are quite high. I think Lille has a good enough team to make a mess in Ligue 1, but they need to get their offense going as soon as possible. Their first game of the season wasn’t great, but it’s only the start of the season.
