Inter is welcoming Brescia to Giuseppe Meazza in round 29 in Italian Serie A.

Inter hasn’t lost any of their last three Serie A games while scoring 7 goals during that stretch and conceding 5 goals. Inter is in third place in the standings with 61 points, 56 scored goals, and 29 conceded goals. Their offense is solid, but Inter’s defense is one of the best in the league. Inter is big 8 points behind Juventus in the standings, and even though there is still time for Inter to catch up, they no longer depend only on themselves. In their last Serie A game against Parma on the road, Inter was dominant with 66% of ball possession, 7 shots on goal, 8 corner kicks, and 88% of the correct passes. Inter was losing since the 15th minute of the game, and they got a red card in 68th minute, but Inter never gave up. In the 84th minute, Inter scored an equalizer, and after that Parma got a red card. In the 87th minute, Inter scored a winning goal. The final result was 1-2. Lukaku has scored 19 goals for Inter, while Martinez added 12 goals. Sensi is injured, while Skrinar and Berni are still suspended because of the red cards. Inter schedule is on the lighter side over the next few games, which is the perfect opportunity for Inter to get closer to Juventus and Lazio.

Brescia is alongside Spal the weakest team in Serie A, and they are in 19th place with only 18 points, 25 scored goals, and huge 52 conceded goals. Brescia has 2 draws from their last two Serie A games, but their last victory was back in early December of last year. Alfredo Donnarumma has scored 6 goals for Brescia this season, while Balotelli added 5 goals. Cistana, Bisoli, and Chancellor are all injured, and they will not be in the lineup. In their latest Serie A game against Genoa at home, Brescia has had 46% of ball possession, 4 shots on goal, 1 corner kicks, and 72% of the correct passes. It was a solid match for Brescia which ended in a 2-2 draw. Brescia has had a few good games this season where they were able to keep the clean sheet, but not nearly enough for Brescia to stay in Serie A. it’s always tough for a newcomer to compete with the big dogs, but I got to be honest, I expected a bit more from Brescia after their solid season in Serie B last year. There is absolutely nothing in Brescia’s game that could give them confidence or skill to pull the miracle and to stay in Serie A next season as well. The only place I see Brescia next season is in Serie B.

Brescia hasn’t won any of their last 14 games, and any of their last 7 away games. Inter might have some trouble in this game seeing how they are struggling with their game, but in the end, Inter will get another win in this game.
