Osasuna is welcoming Leganes to Estadio El Sadar in part of round 32 in Spanish LaLiga.

After their first three games without a win since the restart, Osasuna has finally won a game, and it was against Alaves a few days ago. Osasuna has had 48% of ball possession in that game, 1 shot on goal, 3 corner kicks, and extremely low 58% of the correct passes. This was a tough and rough game for both teams, but Osasuna has scored a goal in 64th minute and has won this match 0-1. With 38 points, 36 scored goals, and 46 conceded goals, Osasuna is in 12th place, safely outside the relegation zone and I see Osasuna in LaLiga next season as well. Osasuna has conceded 8 goals in their last 4 games while scoring only 2, which is not great because they have been solid in the attacking part before the break. Avila has scored 9 goals for Osasuna this season, while Garcia and Torres added 6 goals. Torres also added 7 assists this season. Ibanez, Avila, and Roncaglia are all injured. The schedule is on the easier side for Osasuna in their next few games, but Osasuna can be playing without pressure because they are outside the relegation zone, and the future is looking good for them, at least for now.

Leganes is one of those teams to which this break didn’t do any good. Leganes has 2 losses and 2 draws in their last 4 LaLiga games, and they are in 19th place in the standings with 25 points, which is in the relegation zone, and the safety is 4 points away. With only 23 scored goals this season, Leganes is the weakest offensive team in LaLiga, while they conceded 44 goals. In their last LaLiga match against Granada at home, Leganes was the better team with 3 shots on goal, 4 corner kicks, 59% of the correct passes, and solid 77% of the correct passes. Like many times this season, Leganes’ offense has failed them, but they had a penalty kick in 65th minute, which they missed, and it cost them a precious three points. This match ended in a 0-0 draw. Oscar has scored 9 goals for Leganes this season and is their best goal scorer. Szymanowski is injured and will not be in the lineup. Leganes might be the better team if they weren’t forced to sell Braithwaite to Barcelona because of some stupid rule, outside the transfer window because all of the Barcelona’s strikers were injured at that point, but Leganes was not allowed to sign another player instead. Needless to say, this was an obsolete rule that was canceled after this. Sure, Leganes did get some money, but they lost a player that could have helped them to stay in LaLiga.

Osasuna was dominant at home against Leganes, and their latest win certainly gave them a huge confidence boost, but this game stinks on a draw so bad that I won’t even take a look at other markets.
