Sevilla is hosting Real Valladolid at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in round 32 of Spanish LaLiga.

Sevilla has been solid since the restart, but they still won only 1 game alongside 3 draws in their last 4 games. During this stretch, Sevilla has scored 3 goals, while conceding 3 goals. With 53 points, Sevilla is in 4th place in the standings, just 2 points behind Atletico Madrid. In their most recent LaLiga game against Villarreal on the road, Sevilla has had 59% of ball possession, 7 shots on goal, 8 corner kicks, and 83% of the correct passes. Sevilla was losing twice in this game, but in the end, the result was 2-2. Ocampos is still the leading goal scorer for Sevilla with 11 goals, while De Jong added 6 goals. Ever Banega added 6 assists, while Navas has 5. There are no injuries in Sevilla, but Navas and Vazquez are in danger of being suspended if they get one more yellow card. Sevilla is a great team with plenty of talent, and I’m confident that Sevilla will end up playing in the Champions League next season, the only question is if they will get there from 3rd or 4th place. Sevilla is still playing in the Europa League this season where they will face Roma once the competition starts again.

Valladolid is not playing well, but despite their weak game, Valladolid is in 15th place in the standings with 34 points, outside the relegation zone, which is the only thing that matters. Valladolid is extremely bad in the attacking end and they scored only 26 goals in 31 games so far this season. Their defense has been decent with 36 conceded goals. Unal and Guardiola have both scored 6 goals for Valladolid. Ramirez and Porro are both injured, and they are questionable to even play again this season. In their last LaLiga game against Getafe at home, Valladolid has had 46% of ball possession, 2 shots on goal, 7 corner kicks, and low 56% of ball possession. Valladolid got behind in 41st minute, but just 4 minutes later, Valladolid has tied the result and this match ended in a 1-1 draw. Valladolid isn’t a great team, especially in the attacking end where they are one of the weakest teams in LaLiga, but the good news for Valladolid is that the bottom three teams in LaLiga are an absolute disaster, and with a few more points from their last 7 games, Valladolid will be safe and will stay in LaLiga next season as well.

Sevilla has been struggling as of late, but Valladolid hasn’t won any of their last 4 games against Sevilla. Sevilla also didn’t lose any of their last 9 home games, and their last 10 games overall. This is a no brainer for me, Sevilla is a much better team and it’s time for them to finally get a nice win to stay close to Atletico Madrid.
