Spal is hosting AC Milan at Stadio Paolo Mazza in round 29 of Italian Serie A.

Spal is the weakest team in Serie A and the season is over for them as they are in the last place in the standings with only 18 points, huge 8 points away from the safety. Spal is the worst offensive team in Serie A with low 21 scored goals, while they conceded 48 goals so far. Petagna has scored 12 goals for Spal this season, while Valdifiori and Strefezza both added 2 assists. Berisha, Zukanovic, and Di Francesco are injured, while Felipe is suspended because of the yellow cards. In their last Serie A game against Napoli this past weekend, Spal was the weaker team with only 34% of ball possession, 84% of accurate passes, 1 corner kick, and 3 shots on target. Spal has lost this game 3-1. Spal has lost both of their games since the restart and they have scored only 1 goal while conceding 4 goals. There is not much to say about Spal, and I don’t think there is anything they can do to get out of this slump simply because they lack the quality to do any significant changes in their game.

Milan is on a roll and they have won both of their Serie A games since the restart, and they did it in good fashion by scoring 6 goals and conceding only 1 goal. In their latest Serie A game against Roma at home, Milan was outstanding, which I didn’t expect to be honest. Milan was the better team with 575 of ball possession, 6 shots on goal, 5 corner kicks, and 87% of the correct passes. Everything Milan did in this game was good, and they deservedly won this match 2-0. Milan is now in 7th place in the standings with 42 points, just 3 points away from the Europa League. Offensively, Milan was struggling massively throughout the season, but it seems they are improving, and Milan has scored 34 goals so far. Their defense has been decent with 35 conceded goals. Rebic has been Milan’s best player since before the break and he has scored 8 goals for Milan so far, while Hernandez added 5 goals. Duarte and Musacchio are both injured, but the more important news is that Ibrahimovic has recovered and is expected to play in this game. There has been a lot of turbulence in Milan over the last few years, and to be honest, I’m not convinced the troubles are over, but Milan is on a good way to get back to the top of Serie A, they just need to keep investing smart, and keep signing good players instead of wasting money on duds.

Spal is going to be relegated, while Milan could use every win they can get. Spal hasn’t won any of their last 6 games against Milan, and Milan is in a much better form at the moment. I will side with Milan as they will look to continue their winning streak.
