Germany is hosting Denmark at Tivoli Stadion Tirol in the International Friendly soccer matchup.

Germany has two newcomers to their team, we actually two old members that are not back in the lineup, Thomas Muller and Mats Hummels. Both of these players are World Cup winners, and their experience will be a huge addition to this young team. In the Euro Cup, Germany is in a tough group with France, Hungary, and Portugal, and since only the top 2 teams are advancing to the next stage, Germany will need to be at the top of their game. In the World Cup qualifications, Germany is in 3rd place with 6 points, 5 scored goals, and 2 conceded goals, but that spot is not the World Cup spot. Germany’s roster looks really well ahead of the Euro Cup, and with Hummels back in the lineup, the defense that was their weakest part is now looking a lot better. After the Euro Cup, Germany will lose their coach, but Flick will take over the team and Germany’s future is secured. It will be a tough Euro Cup for Germany, but I think they are good enough to get through the group stage, and possibly even further.

Denmark has been playing better and better, and they are on a 3-game winning streak during which they scored 14 goals while conceding 0 goals, but their opponents were that great. In the World Cup qualifications, Denmark is now at the top of their group with 9 points, an impressive 14 scored goals, and still, 0 conceded goals. As far as the Euro Cup goes, Denmark is in the group with Belgium, Finland, and Russia, and I think they will be fighting with Russia for 2nd place. Denmark’s roster for the Euro Cup looks impressive, and with Braithwaite, Dolberg, Poulsen, Eriksen, and Christiansen and Kjaer on the defensive end, Denmark will be a threat to the big teams this summer. The good news for Denmark is their first game of the Euro Cup will be against Finland, and that is the perfect opportunity for them to start with a win and gain some advantage over Russia.

Both teams have immense offensive quality, especially Germany, but with this being a friendly game, it’s hard to guess the lineups. Germany is the deeper team here, and they are playing at home, but Denmark is capable of some good things. I will take the goals here as well.
