Atletico is finally improving on the defensive end, but now their offense has slowed down, and they need to get back on track soon.

Getafe must wake up fast if they want to avoid the relegation drama, but I think they are good enough to do it.

Atletico is in good form, they are undefeated in their last 6 games, and they are still undefeated in LaLiga. With 11 points, Atletico Madrid is now in 2^nd place. The bad news for Atletico is they haven’t scored a goal in their last 2 games, but they also haven’t conceded a goal in those 2 games. Correa is the leading goalscorer for Atletico with 3 goals, while Lemar and Koke are injured. Felix is suspended because of the red card. Atletico Madrid was hosting Bilbao in their last LaLiga game, and they were the better team with 55% of ball possession, 2 shots on goal, 5 corner kicks, 1 big chance created, and 82% of the correct passes. Even though Atletico was the better team here, they weren’t able to score a goal, and this game has ended in a 0-0 draw. Atletico was my favorite to defend the title before the season started, and they still are because they are the best defensive team in the league, but they will need a bit more offense, at least more consistent offense.

Getafe hasn’t scored a goal against Atletico in their last 20 games, which is absolutely staggering. Atletico is a much better team here, on both ends, and for that reason, I will take Atletico Madrid.
