Burnley vs. Brentford 10/30/21 Premier League Soccer Pick, Odds, and Predictions

Burnley and Brentford face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Turf Moor. . Burnley has won the last four games played against Brentford. 

Brentford currently sits in 12th place in the standings having picked up 12 points. Brentford started off the season strong, but they have lost two games in a row. In the last game against Leicester City they fell behind early, and although they did answer back with a goal, it wasn’t enough as they were defeated 2-1. Brentford did actually have 55 percent of the possession. Brentford has scored 11 goals total while the defense has given up nine goals total. No one has scored more than two goals, but three different players are currently sitting at that number. 

On the other side of this matchup is Burnley who sits in the relegation zone in 18th place having picked up four points. Even with the struggles, Burnley was able to play to a 2-2 draw against Southampton in the last game. Maxwel Cornet was the difference maker scoring two goals. Burnley has scored seven goals total while the defense has given up 15 goals. Cornet has been the top player this season scoring three goals. This isn’t a great offense and they need to find a way to get the offense going moving forward. 

I especially don’t trust the offense of Burnley and their lack of scoring is going to keep this game lower scoring. I don’t love a side, but I don’t see more than two goals being scored in this one. Back the under.
