West Ham United and Liverpool face off on Sunday in an English Premier League showdown at London Stadium. Liverpool has won four games in a row including the last game in January by a final score of 3-1. 

Liverpool currently sits in 3rd place in the standings having picked up 22 points. Even though Liverpool has found a lot of success this season, but they are coming off a 2-2 victory against Brighton. Liverpool played a midweek game against Atletico Madrid and they were able to win that game 2-0. Liverpool has scored 29 goals while the defense is giving up eight goals total. Mohamed Salah has been the top player for Liverpool. In this game, it’s going to be about the offense running up the score. 

On the other side of this matchup is West Ham who sits in 4th place having picked up 20 points. West Ham has played some really good soccer this year, and in the last game against Aston Villa, they were able to win 4-1. In a midweek game against Genk, West Ham was able to play to a 2-2 draw. West Ham United’s offense has been strong all season putting 20 goals in the back of the net. The defense has also been good to, giving up 11 goals, but in this game that part of their game is going to be really tested.
