Borussia is still a good team, but something is very wrong for them this season, and instead of fighting for the Champions League, Borussia will be fighting to stay outside the relegation zone. Hofmann is the leading goalscorer for Borussia with 7 goals, while Stindl added 4 assists. I know this is a good team, they have a lot of quality on both ends, but they just can’t get out of this slump they are in, but there is still enough time this season for them to salvage something.

Eintracht has been on fire as of late, and they have just beaten Leverkusen this past weekend. Eintracht was losing 0-2 early in the game, but they have scored 5 unanswered goals after that, and they have won this game 5-2. Thanks to this positive streak, Eintracht has gained some traction, they have escaped the relegation zone, and they are now in 10^th place with 21 points. Eintracht has also been scoring a lot of goals, and their total is 23, while they conceded 22 goals. Kostic has been the best player for Eintracht with 3 goals and 7 assists. The bad news for Eintracht is their injury list, which is getting longer, but this is a fighting team that won’t stop until the last second. Eintracht has scored quite a few last-minute goals already this season, and that tells us a lot about their character. After this game, Eintracht has one more game, and it’s against Mainz at home, but first, they need to deal with Borussia M’gladbach on the road, and they are good enough to get a positive result.

And while Borussia is losing everything, Eintracht is on a positive run. Borussia is conceding a ton of goals, but they can still score, and they have been. I’m still not convinced Eintracht has fixed their defense, but their offense is clearly working. I think Borussia has to snap out of this losing streak, and I think they will do it here.
