Inter has scored a ton of goals, and they continued to do so even after they sold Lukaku. Inter was hosting Genoa this past weekend, and they were dominant with 60% of ball possession, 8 shots on goal, 8 corner kicks, 4 big chances created, and 91% of the correct passes. Both Dzeko and Calhanoglu are newcomers to Inter, and they have had a great game. Inter has won this match 4-0, while Dzeko and Calhanoglu both scored a goal, and Calhanoglu added an assist. Skrinar and Vidal also scored a goal in this game. Gagliardini and Sanchez are both injured for Inter. With this win, Inter is at the top of the table, but it’s only the start of the season and Inter will need to stay consistent on both ends. There are teams that need the break, but I don’t think Inter is one of those teams, and the International break is coming, and I don’t think it will do Inter well.
