Croatia and Denmark face off on Thursday in a League A Group 1 UEFA Nations League showdown at Stadion Maksimir. When these two teams faced off on June 10th, it was Croatia that secured the 1-0 victory.

Denmark currently sits in 1st place in the standings, having picked up nine points. Denmark’s last game came against Austria, and they were able to secure a 2-0 victory in the last game. They had two goals in the first 37 minutes, and they never looked back as they cruised to the victory. Jesper Lindstrom is a star for this team, but he is dealing with an illness, and he isn’t expected to be able to go in this game. Robert Skov and Andreas Cornelius are also dealing with injuries, and they also aren’t going to be able to go in this game.

On the other side of this matchup is Croatia, who sits in second place in the standings having picked up seven points. Croatia’s last fight came against France, and they were able to secure the 1-0 victory. It was Luka Modrić that scored in the 5th minute by penalty, and the defense locked down the rest of the game, and that led to the victory. They had 46 percent of the possession and three shots on target. Croatia’s defense has been strong coming into this game, and it’s going to be important the defense is strong again. Duje Caleta-Car hasn’t played a lot coming into this game, and he won’t be with the team for this game. Sime Vrsaljko also announced his retirement from international play.

Croatia is an elite defensive team, and they are going to lock down in this game. This is going to be a game where I think Denmark doesn’t get on the board. Look for Croatia to score a max of one goal, and this game is going to stay under the total. Back the under 1.5 cash to here. I am also throwing a few dollars on an exact score of 1-0.
