Liverpool’s last Champions League game was against the Rangers, and they were able to secure a 7-1 victory. Mohamed Salah scored in the 75th, 80th, and 81st minutes. Liverpool had 57 percent of the possession and nine shots on target. On Saturday, Liverpool faced off against Nottingham Forest, and they were defeated 1-0. Diaz, Jota, and Joel Matip are all dealing with injuries, and they won’t be able to go in this game. 

On the other side of this matchup is Ajax, and they sit in second place in the group having picked up three points. On October 12th, Ajax faced off against Napoli, and they were defeated 4-2. Ajax gave up the first goal in the 4th minute, and the defense really struggled the entire game. They actually had 55 percent of the possession, but only three shots on target. Ahmetcan Kaplan, Devyne Rensch, and Mohamed Ihattaren are all dealing with injuries, and they won’t be able to go in this game. 

I know Liverpool scored seven goals in the last game, but I expect Ajax is going to be more competitive in this game. Ajax knows they need to pick up a win in this game, and they are going to push numbers forward. I expect both teams to score at least two goals, and this game is going to go over the total.
