Brentford and the Wolves face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at GTech Community Stadium. When these two teams faced off on January 22nd, it was the Wolves that secured the 2-1 victory. 

Brentford comes into this game sitting in 11th place in the group having picked up 14 points. Brentford has picked up only a point over their last two games, but they have failed to score in each of the games. In the last game against Aston Villa, the defense was awful, giving up four goals and that led to the defeat. Brentford had 55 percent of the possession and three shots on target. Pontus Jansson has been dealing with a thigh injury that has held them out, and it’s going to hold him out again in this game. Christian Norgaard is almost back from injury, but is not quite fully recovered and won’t play in this game. 

On the other side of this matchup is the Wolves who sit in 19th place in the group having picked up nine points. In the last game against Leicester City, the defense was awful, giving up four goals and that led to the defeat. The Wolves had 61 percent of the possession and six shots on target. Pedro Neto and Toti are both dealing with injuries, but there is a chance they could be back for this game. If they are back, that is going to be a big boost for the offense. Hugo Bueno has been starting the last couple of games and is expected to do the same here. 

I don’t trust this Wolves offense, and they are going to struggle to score again in this game. I’m not so sure Brentford is going to run up the score here, but they are going to score at least one goal and that is going to be enough to get the job done here. Back Brentford on the money line to cash.
