Chelsea vs. Liverpool 5/14/22 FA Cup Finals Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Chelsea and Liverpool are clashing at Wembley in the FA Cup finals. Chelsea is slowly finding their form, they are scoring more goals, but it’s too bad the season is about to end. Liverpool is on fire, they are still in the title race in the EPL, and they are in the Champions League finals as well.

In their last game, Chelsea was playing against Leeds on the road, and they were solid with 3 scored goals, which was enough for a 0-3 win. With these 3 points, Chelsea has secured their Champions League spot for next season, and they will probably end in 3^rd place. Chelsea has been pretty much solid on the defensive end for most of the season, but those black holes have cost them in the Champions League, and they cost them in the EPL as well. Lukaku is the leading goalscorer for Chelsea in the FA Cup with 3 goals, and he will be in the starting lineup here as well. Ziyech and Werner have each added 2 goals. As I’ve mentioned, Chelsea is picking themselves up, but they will need to be at their best in this one, and only then they can hope to win the FA Cup.

Liverpool is on fire, they haven’t lost any of their last 15 games, but they are still behind City in the EPL standings. Liverpool has also qualified for the Champions League finals where they will face Real Madrid, the team that was full of surprises this season. This is the chance for Liverpool to win 3 titles this season, but we will see if the dense schedule will affect them, and how much. Minamino has been excellent for Liverpool in the FA Cup with 3 goals, while Mane, Fabinho, and Jota have added 2 goals each. Liverpool has an excellent team, they have a ton of depth, they don’t have any injuries, and they are playing really well right now. As much as Liverpool would be smart to rest a few players here, I’m sure they will go for the win here, but I think it might take the overtime for them to get it. I like Liverpool, I like the way they are playing, and I hope they can win the Champions League.

The trends are pretty even in this matchup, but this is the finals, and it will be a good one. I think Chelsea will go all out to get the title here, as it’s their only shot to get a trophy, but Liverpool will not just give up. I think we see at least one goal on each side, but I see the draw.
