Copenhagen and Borussia Dortmund face off on Wednesday in a Group G UEFA Champions League showdown at Parken.

When these two teams faced off on September 6th it was Dortmund that was able to secure the 3-0 victory. Dortmund ended up with 63 percent of the possession and four shots on target. Copenhagen had 37 percent of the possession and two shots on target. There were three different goalscorers for Dortmund.

Dortmund comes into this game sitting in second place in the group, having picked up eight points. Last Tuesday, Dortmund faced off against Manchester City and the game ended in a 0-0 draw. On Saturday, Manchester City faced off against Eintracht Frankfurt, and they were able to secure the 2-1 victory. The two goals were scored in the first 52 minutes. Marco Reus, Thomas Meunier, and Raphael Guerreiro are all dealing with injuries and won’t be able to go in this game.

On the other side of this matchup is Copenhagen who sit in 4th place in the group having picked up two points. Last Tuesday, Copenhagen faced off against Sevilla, and they were defeated 3-0. Copenhagen had 42 percent of the possession and two shots on target. On Saturday, Copenhagen faced off against Randers, and they were able to secure a 2-0 victory. Davit Khocholava picked up a red card in the last game, and he will be suspended for this game. Akinkunmi Amoo and Zeca are both dealing with injuries and won’t be able to go in this game.

This Copenhagen offense just isn’t good enough, and it’s not going to get any better in this game. Look for Copenhagen to struggle to find the back of the net, and that will be the difference here. Look for Borussia Dortmund to score three or four goals, and they will secure an easy victory. Back Dortmund -1.5.
