England and France face off on Saturday in a World Cup quarterfinal soccer showdown at Al Bayt Stadium.

England finished in 1st place in Group B picking up seven points. England believes this is the year they win the World Cup, and they looked good in the first game of the knockout stage. England scored three goals against Senegal, and that was enough to secure the victory. Jordan Henderson opened up the scoring in the 39th minute. Harry Kane scored in the 48th minute and Bukayo Saka scored in the 57th minute. England had 62 percent of the possession and four shots on target. Raheem Sterling had to fly back to England after a robbery at his house, but he’s back with the team and expected to play a role in this game. Declan Rice is dealing with an illness, but it’s expected that he’s going to be able to go in this game.

On the other side of this matchup is France, who finished in first place in Group D with six points. In the round of 16 they scored three goals against Poland and that was enough to secure the two goal victory. Kylian Mbappé scored in the 74th and 91st minute to pace France on the way to the victory. Mbappé is dealing with discomfort in his ankle and missed practice, but it seems that he’s going to be good to go here. If he wasn’t able to go, that would be a huge loss for the team. Aurelien Tchouameni and Jules Kounde are both dealing with yellow card issues and if they pick up one here they would be suspended for the next game.

There is going to be no shortage of scoring in this game. This France offense is elite, and there is no reason that Mbappé won’t score a couple of goals here. England also has a ton of attacking talent, and they should find the back of the net. After the end of the 90 minutes, this game should be 2-2 or 3-2. Back the over to cash here.
