Manchester United vs. West Ham United 10/30/22 EPL Soccer Picks, Predictions, Odds

Manchester United and West Ham United face off on Sunday in an English Premier League showdown at Old Trafford. When these two teams faced off on January 22nd it was Manchester United that secured the 1-0 victory. 

Manchester United comes into this game sitting in 6th place in the group having picked up 20 points. Last Saturday, Manchester United faced off against Chelsea, and the game ended in a 1-1 draw. Casemiro scored in the 94th minute for Man United to even allow them to pick up a point. Manchester United had 53 percent of the possession and six shots on target. On Thursday, Manchester United was able to beat Sheriff 3-0. Ronaldo started in the last game but it’s expected that he’s going to move back to the bench for this game. Manchester United needs to be the team that scores first here. 

On the other side of this matchup is West Ham United who sits in 10th place in the group having picked up 14 points.  On Monday West Ham United faced off against AFC Bournemouth and they were able to secure the 2-0 victory. West Ham had 55 percent of the possession and four shots on target. West Ham played a midweek Europa game and they were able to win that game 1-0. Lucas Paqueta is dealing with a shoulder injury and it’s not expected that he’s going to be able to go in this game. 

West Ham has played well coming into this game, but I expect they are going to pick up a loss in that game. Manchester United’s defense is going to be strong here, and that is going to be the difference as the home team is going to  get the job done. It might only be a 1-0 game but Manchester United will secure the win.
