Marseille vs. Sporting CP 10/4/22 UEFA Champions League Soccer Pick, Predictions, Odds

Olympique de Marseille and Sporting CP face off on Tuesday in a Group D Champions League showdown at Stade Velodrome. 

Sporting CP currently sits in 1st place in the group having picked up six points. In the last Champions League game, Sporting CP faced off against Tottenham Hotspur, and they were able to win 2-0. They weren’t actually that impressive, but they scored goals in the 90th and 93rd minutes to steal the victory. On Friday they faced off against Gil Vicente and the offense scored three goals on the way to the victory. Jovane Cabral is still dealing with a thigh injury, and he’s not going to be able to go in this game. Luis Neto is dealing with a knee injury, but he’s expected to be able to go in this game. 

On the other side of this matchup is Olympique de Marseille, who sits in 4th place in the group having picked up zero points. On September 13th, Marseille faced off against Eintracht Frankfurt, and they were defeated 1-0. They had 61 percent of the possession and four shots on target, but it wasn’t enough, as they couldn’t find the back of the net. On Friday, they faced off against Angers, and they were able to win that game 3-0. Sead Kolasinac is still dealing with an injury, and he won’t be able to go in this game. Leonardo Balerdi is someone who is expected to play in this game. 

Sporting CP has looked good so far this season, and they are going to continue the success in this game. Even though the goals came late in the last game, they were dominating possession in that game, and I expect they are going to find success scoring in this game.
