Tottenham Hotspur and Eintracht Frankfurt face off on Wednesday in a UEFA Champions League Group D showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

When these two teams faced off last Tuesday, the game ended in a 0-0 draw. Tottenham had 57 percent of the possession and two shots on target. Eintracht Frankfurt had 43 percent of the possession and two shots on target. Tottenham Hotspur had three yellow cards, while Eintracht had zero. In this game, I would expect both teams to try to push the numbers forward because this is an important three points for each team.

Tottenham Hotspur comes into this game sitting in second place in the standings having picked up four points. Tottenham faced off against Brighton on Saturday, and they were able to secure a 1-0 victory. Harry Kane scored a goal in the 22nd minute, and that was the difference as Tottenham secured the victory. Tottenham had only 41 percent of the possession, but they had three shots on target and one goal. Kane was hurt in the last game, but there is thought he could be healthy enough to go in this game. Dejan Kulusevski is dealing with a thigh injury, though, and he won’t be able to go in this game.

On the other side of this matchup is Eintracht Frankfurt, who sits in 2nd place in the standings having picked up four points. On Saturday they faced off against Vfl Bochum, and they didn’t look great. They gave up three goals after the 71st minute and that led to the loss. They had 54 percent of the possession and two shots on target. Sebastian Rode and Ansgar Knauff aren’t expected to play in this game.

The last time these two teams faced off, the game ended 0-0 and this game is going to be low scoring again. Eintracht Frankfurt is going to go in a defensive shape in this game, and that is going to lead to this game being lower scoring. It wouldn’t shock me if this game ended 0-0, but I don’t think this game goes over a goal. Back the under 2.5 to cash.
