Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool face off on Sunday in an English Premier League showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. When these two teams faced off on May 7th the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Tottenham comes into this game sitting in 3rd place in the group having picked up 26 points. Tottenham’s last Premier League game came against AFC Bournemouth, and they were able to secure a 3-2 victory. On Tuesday they faced off against Marseille and Tottenham secured the 2-1 victory. Heung-min Son suffered a fractured eye socket in the last game and that is a big loss for this team. Richarlison is dealing with an injury, and he also will miss this game. They are missing a lot of key attacking pieces, and they are going to need to do everything in their power to do the most with the chances they have.

On the other side of this matchup is Liverpool, who sits in 9th place in the group having picked up 16 points. It has been a disappointing season for Liverpool, and they are coming off a loss in the last game against Leeds United. The defense gave up two goals, including one in the 89th minute, on the way to the loss. Liverpool had 69 percent of the possession and 10 shots on goal. Ibrahima Konate is back with the team and that is a big boost for the defense. In this game, the defense is going to need to be good, or it’s going to be a long game.

Tottenham is missing so many key attack pieces and that is going to hurt them in this game. Liverpool’s defense hasn’t been exactly elite, but they are going to lock down the Hotspur attack in this game. Back Liverpool on the money line to cash.
