Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal face off on Sunday in an English Premier League showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. When these two teams faced off on October 1st it was Arsenal that secured the 3-1 victory.

Tottenham currently sits in 5th place in the standings having picked up 33 points. Last Saturday against Portsmouth and they were able to secure a 1-0 victory. Tottenham had 72 percent of the possession but they only managed one shot on goal. The good news for Tottenham was that goal went in the back of the net. Two games ago against Crystal Palace, Tottenham scored four goals against Crystal Palace and won in blowout fashion. Harry Kane scored in the 48th and 53rd minute. Tottenham had 54 percent of the possession and six shots on target. At times this season the Tottenham defense has been an issue and that cnan’t be what happens this season.

On the other side of this matchup is Arsenal who sits in 1st place in the standings having picked up 44 points. On Monday Arsenal faced off against Oxford United and they were able to secure a 3-0 victory. Eddie Nketiah scored in the 70th and 76th minute to help pace Arsenal to secure the victory. Arsenal had 65 percent of the possession and four shots on target. In the last Premier League game, Arsenal played to a 0-0 draw against Newcastle. Arsenal is the top team in the EPL, but this race isn’t wrapped up, and this is a key game where they need to take three points.

Arsenal beat Tottenham 3-1 the last time they played, and Arsenal is going to find that same type of success here. Arsenal might not score three goals again, but this Tottenham defense is an issue and they are going to give up a couple of goals again here. Back Arsenal on the money line to cash.
