AFC Bournemouth and Leicester City face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Vitality Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2020 it was Bournemouth that secured the 4-1 victory. 

Leicester City currently sits in 19th in the standings having picked up four points. Leicester City has really struggled so far this season, but maybe they just turned it around in their last game. Leicester City scored four goals against Nottingham Forest and that was enough to secure the victory, James Maddison opened up the scoring in the 25th minute and also added another goal in the 35th minute. Leicester City had seven shots on target and 52 percent of the possession. Wilfred Ndidi suffered a hamstring injury in the last game, and he won’t be able to go in this game. Nampalys Mendy is also dealing with a knee injury, and it looks like he won’t be able to go in this game. 

On the other side of this matchup is AFC Bournemouth, who sits in 13th place in the standings having picked nine points. AFC Bournemouth’s last game came against Brentford, and that game ended in a 0-0 draw. They had 42 percent of the possession but only managed one shot on goal, and they need to find a way to get the offense going here. Ben Pearson and Joe Rothwell both appear to be healthy, although it’s unclear if they will start, or they will come off the bench. Lloyd Kelly is still banged up though, and he won’t be able to go in this game. 

Leicester City has a ton of confidence heading into this game and I expect they are going to continue the scoring here. Maddison is in fine form, and he will score a goal or two in this game. AFC Bournemouth is going to struggle against a Leicester defense that now has confidence, and Leicester City will secure the victory.
