Angers is hosting PSG at Stade Raymond Kopa in round 33 of the French Ligue 1. Angers is outside the relegation zone right now, but not by much, and they still need to win a few points to stay in the league for sure. PSG will win the title, they don’t have anything to play for, but they are scoring a lot of goals now.
Angers has only 1 win in their last 11 games, but the good news is they haven’t lost any of their last 2 games. Angers has scored in each of their last 4 games, but they have conceded in 9 of their last 10 games. Angers is in 14th place with 34 points, but as I’ve mentioned, they have some work to do still. Boufal has scored 8 goals for Angers so far this season, while Mangani has added 6 goals. Boufal has also added 4 assists. There are a few injured players in Angers, and that will be a problem for them in this game because they will lack depth. Angers is a bellow average team in France, but I think they will save themselves, at least this season.
PSG is on a 3-game winning streak, and they have scored 13 goals in those 3 games. The bad news for PSG is they have conceded at least 1 goal in each of their last 4 games. As I’ve mentioned, PSG will win the title, they are at the top of the table with 74 points, they have scored 72 goals, while they have conceded 30 goals. Mbappe is of course the leading goalscorer for PSG with 22 goals and 15 assists, while Messi has added 13 assists. There are a ton of injured players for PSG right now, Neymar is suspended, but I suspect some of these players might be available for PSG in this game. The most important thing for PSG is that Mbappe is healthy and ready to play. PSG has 15 points advantage over Marseille, and the title is already theirs, but it seems they are now playing better than they have played for most of the season, and they surely want to keep doing that.
Angers has never beaten PSG in the past, and even though PSG has a lot of injuries, they won’t start now. I see PSG starting fast, and I see them getting the job done as quickly as possible.
