Arsenal vs. Liverpool 3/16/22 EPL Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Arsenal and Liverpool are clashing at Emirates Stadium in round 27 of the English Premier League. Arsenal is in great form now, they are on a big winning streak, and they have just shut out Leicester this past weekend. Liverpool is also playing well, they are close to the top spot, but they are struggling with scoring goals a bit.

Arsenal has won their last 5 games in a row, they have scored 10 goals during this streak, while they have conceded only 4 goals. We can see Arsenal has improved on both ends, and that has gotten them to 4^th place with 51 points, which is the Champions League spot. Compared to what they looked like at the start of the season, Arsenal is a brand new team. With 9 scored goals, Smith-Rowe is still Arsenal’s most efficient player, while Saka has added 8 goals. Lacazette has added 7 assists. Tomiyasu is now the only injured player for Arsenal. Seeing how bad United, Tottenham, and West Ham are right now, Arsenal has a pretty good chance to stay in that 4^th place, unless of course, they make a sharp turn towards the bad side.

The only game Liverpool has lost lately was in the Champions League against Inter, but they still advanced to the next stage. As far as the EPL goals, Liverpool is in 2^nd place, but if they win this game, they will get within 1 point from Manchester City at the top, and the race for the title will be on. Offensively, Liverpool is the best team in the league with 73 scored goals, and Salah is their best goalscorer with 20 goals and 10 assists. Jota and Mane have added 12 goals each, while Alexander-Arnold has added 11 assists. There are a few injuries in Liverpool, but a lot less than they are used to having. As I’ve mentioned, Liverpool has been struggling a bit with scoring goals lately, but now that Salah is back on track, I think that will change as well. The good news for Liverpool is they are not playing this weekend, which means they don’t need to rest for anything, but they do need to take this game very seriously and get the win.

Liverpool hasn’t lost any of their last 6 games on the road, while Arsenal is on a 5-game winning streak. I think this should be a fun game, and I think Arsenal could get on the scoreboard, but how often do we get Liverpool at this price?!
