Now, Aston Villa has a ton of injuries, and players like Bailey and Traore would be a huge help to this team, but so would El Ghazi, Sanson, and Buendia who are also injured. Watkins is the leading goalscorer for Aston Villa with 5 goals, while Ings added 3 goals. Luiz has added 3 assists. I think Aston Villa is a solid team with a lot of talented players, and now that they have a good coach, I think they will only improve.

Chelsea has only 2 wins in their last 5 games, and those were against Brentford in the EFL Cup and Leeds in the EPL. Chelsea tied against Wolverhampton and Everton. Thanks to this, let’s call it a bad streak, Chelsea has dropped to 3^rd place with 38 points, but they are still only 6 points away from the top of the table. Defensively, Chelsea is one of the best teams in the league with only 12 conceded goals, but their defense has been a bit sloppy lately, and it doesn’t help that Lukaku, Werner, Havertz, and Hudson-Odoi are all in the covid protocol. Mason Mount is now the leading goalscorer for Chelsea with 7 goals. Kovacic and Reece James each added 5 assists. Getting Kovacic back is a huge boost for this team, and it might take another game or two for him to get back in good form, but he was their best player before the injury. Chelsea is aiming at another Champions League, but they wouldn’t say no to the EPL title, and when at their best, they can win both.

I have a feeling this will be a fantastic game because Aston Villa is on the rise, and we know this slump Chelsea is in won’t last for much longer. I see goals on both sides in this game, and that is going to be my pick here.
