Atalanta and Juventus are clashing at Gewiss Stadium in round 25 of the Italian Serie A. Atalanta is in a slump now, they are not scoring goals, and they can’t defend well. Juventus has completely changed since Vlahovic arrived, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch how one player can have a huge impact on a team.

Atalanta hasn’t won any of their last 4 games, but I don’t think this slump will last long, however, it’s way too late for Atalanta to have any impact on the title race in Serie A. Atalanta has also got knocked out of the Coppa Italia against Fiorentina earlier this week. In the Europa League, Atalanta is playing against Olympiacos next week, and that game is coming at the worst possible time for them. In their last Serie A game, Atalanta has lost to Cagliari last week, which was embarrassing, to say the least. When it comes to scoring goals, Zapata is still the leading goalscorer for Atalanta with 9 goals, while Pasalic now has 8 goals and 5 assists. Ilicic, Miranchuk, Zapata, and Palomino are all injured, while Musso is suspended because of the red card. Atalanta is in desperate need of a win, but even if they get it, that Europa League match will be hell.

As I’ve mentioned, Juventus has improved massively since Vlahovic arrived, and they will get even better. In his first two games at the club, Vlahovic has scored 2 goals, and he has the chance to get even better ahead of that Champions League game against Villarreal in a couple of weeks. Thanks to their great streak, Juventus is now in 4th place with 45 points, 36 scored goals, and 21 conceded goals. Chiesa, Bernardeschi, and Chiellini are all injured for Juventus. Dybala is leading Juventus with 7 goals and 4 assists, while Morata has added 5 goals. In their last Serie A game, Juventus was facing a tough Verona team, and they were able to get a win and keep a clean sheet, while they also had a solid game against Sassuolo in Coppa Italia, which they won 2-1. I think Juventus is getting better with every game, and now that they have a striker capable of scoring 15+ goals per season, they will get even better.

Atalanta hasn’t won any of their last 4 games, while Juventus hasn’t lost any of their last 4 games. Atalanta is a good team, but in their current form, they don’t deserve a look here. I’m going with Juve on the money line.
