Barcelona is welcoming Granada to Camp Nou in round 5 of the Spanish LaLiga. Barcelona is undefeated in LaLiga so far, but they got demolished by Bayern in the Champions League earlier this week. Granada is still without a win so far this season, but they are a solid team, and they will bounce back.

Barcelona is going through a very rough period, and the situation is far from optimal at the club. In addition to losing to Bayern, quite embarrassingly I might add, There have been some rumors that Barcelona is looking for a new head coach. In LaLiga, Barcelona has been solid so far, they have scored 7 goals, conceded 4 goals, and they are now in 10th place with 7 points, but they have 2 games less than Atletico Madrid at the top. In that midweek game against Bayern Munich at home, Barcelona looked like a bunch of puppies running on the pitch. Barcelona has had 48% of ball possession, not a single shot on goal, 2 corner kicks, 0 big chances created, and 88% of the correct passes. The second half was solid from Barcelona, but it was too little too late, and they ended up losing this game 0-3, and trust me, it could have been a lot worse. Braithwaite, Roberto, and Debay have each scored 2 goals for Barcelona in LaLiga so far, while De Jong added 2 assists. There are still a lot of injured players in Barcelona, and they will have a bunch of young guys in their roster once again, which is not a bad thing if you ask me.

Granada is struggling at the moment, they haven’t won a game in LaLiga so far, and they have scored only 2 goals in the first 4 games. Defensively, Granada has also been sloppy, and they have conceded 7 goals. With only 2 points, Granada is now in 17th place. In their last game against Betis at home, Granada has had 43% of ball possession, 2 shots on goal, 6 corner kicks, 1 big chance created, and 78% of the correct passes. Granada has conceded a goal at the end of the first half, but they have tied the score in the 66th minute. Unfortunately for Granada, they conceded another goal in the 89th minute, and they ended up losing this match 1-2. Luis Suarez is now the only goalscorer for Granada with 2 goals. Lozano is the only injured player. It will be a long and hard season for Granada, but I think they are a decent team, and I think they will stay in LaLiga for at least another season.

Granada hasn’t won any of their last 4 games, and they have had very little success against Barcelona in the past. Even in a situation like this, Barcelona is the better team here, and they are playing at home. Barcelona will look to bounce back after that embarrassing loss, and I think they will.
