Bayern Munich vs. Bayer Leverkusen 3/5/22 Bundesliga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are clashing at Allianz Arena in round 25 of the German Bundesliga. Bayern is struggling on both ends as of late, and they are playing in the Champions League next week. Leverkusen is offensive firepower this season, and even though their defense is not great, their offense is compensating.

Bayern is still at the top of the table in Bundesliga, and they now have an 8-point advantage over Borussia Dortmund. As I’ve mentioned, Bayern is playing against Salzburg in the Champions League next week, and they will need to be at their best if they want to get a positive result out of it. With 75 scored goals so far this season, Bayern is the best offensive team in the league, by far, while their defense is also among the best in the league with 26 conceded goals. Lewandowski is the leading goalscorer for Bayern with 28 goals, and that will not change any time soon. Gnabry has added 10 goals. Muller has 17 assists. Bayern has some injury problems right now, and they also will miss Hernandez who is suspended. I don’t think Bayern can defend properly this season, but with an offense like this, they don’t have to.

Leverkusen has won 5 of their last 6 games, and they have been scoring like crazy lately. Thanks to their great form, Leverkusen is now in 3^rd place in the standings, and they have scored 63 goals. Leverkusen’s defense on the other hand is not good, and they have conceded 39 goals so far. Unfortunately for Leverkusen, they were not lucky in the Europa League draw, and they will be playing against Atalanta next week. Schick is leading Leverkusen with 20 goals, while Diaby added 12 goals and 6 assists. Unfortunately for Leverkusen, Schick is injured, and Bellarabi and Lunaev as well. The good news for Leverkusen is their Bundesliga schedule is not too hard, and with a bit of luck, they could actually get to the second spot. I love this Leverkusen team, they are young, they are talented, and they are not afraid to play against the best teams.

Its’ plain and simple, I see goals in this one. We have two high goalscoring teams facing off, and it can only end with a lot of goals. This one could go either way with the form these two teams are playing in, but I will stick to goals.
