Bodo/Glimt vs. Arsenal 10/13/22 UEFA Europa League Soccer Pick, Predictions, Odds

Bodo/Glimt and Arsenal face off on Thursday in a Group A UEFA Europa League soccer showdown at Aspmyra Stadion.

These two teams faced off last Thursday, and it was Arsenal that secured the 3-0 victory. Three different players scored for Arsenal on the way to the victory. Arsenal had 49 percent of the possession and six shots on target. Bodo/Glimt had 51 percent of the possession and four shots on target, but they couldn’t find the back of the net and that led to the defeat. 

Arsenal comes into this game sitting in 1st place in the standings having picked up six points. Over the weekend, Arsenal faced off against Liverpool, and they were able to secure a 3-2 victory. Bukayo Saka had a big game, scoring in stoppage time in the first half and in the 76th minute to help secure the 3-2 victory. Arsenal out shot 7-3, and it was an impressive win. Mohamed Elneny and Emile Smith Rowe are both dealing with injuries, and they won’t be able to go in this game. Arsenal is expected to make plenty of changes for this squad as they sit in a good spot in the standings. 

On the other side of this matchup is Bodo/Glimt who sit in 3rd place in the standings having picked up four points. Over the weekend against Sandefjord, they scored four goals and that was enough to secure the three-goal victory. The first goal was scored in the 54th minute, and they ran up the score on the way to the victory. Bodo/Glimt had nine shots on target and 59 percent of the possession. This is a team that is pretty healthy outside of Sondre Fet and Gaute Hoberg Vetti, who are both still dealing with injuries. 

With Arsenal playing mostly a second squad, I do think Bodo/Glimt will find a little more success with the offense. Their defense isn’t going to be any improved, though, and Arsenal is going to score two or three goals. This is a game that will have at least four goals scored, and the over 3.5 goals will cash.
