Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Tottenham 3/16/22 EPL Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Brighton is hosting Tottenham at American Express Community Stadium in round 16 of the English Premier League. Brighton is in terrible form, they are on a 5-game losing streak, and they have scored only 1 goal during that streak. Tottenham has been hot and cold as usual, but they are playing much better than they did before.

Luckily for Brighton, they have had a solid first half of the season, and that was enough for them to secure their spot in the EPL for next season. with 33 points, Brighton is now in 13^th place, they have scored only 26 goals so far this season, but they have conceded only 34 goals so far. During their 5-game losing streak, Brighton has conceded 11 goals, which is terrible, but their offense was even worse. Maupay is the leading goalscorer for Brighton with 8 goals, while Mwepu, Gross, and Moder have added 3 assists each. Sarmiento and Lallana are injured. There is a long road back from the slump Brighton is in right now, and I’m not sure they have what it takes to start that journey right now, but they will certainly get back.

Tottenham has been going win-loss in their last 6 games, and if we go by that, they will get a win here. Tottenham is playing a lot better on both ends since Conte arrived, but their defense is very bad and inconsistent, and that defense has cost them points against United this past weekend. As far as the EPL standings go, Tottenham is now in 8^th place with 45 points, they have scored 42 goals while conceding 25 goals. There aren’t any notable injuries for Tottenham at this time. As far as goalscoring goes, Kane and Son lead the charge for Tottenham with 11 goals each, while Son also has 5 assists. Besides Kane and Son, there is really no one to step up, but they are working on some summer deals, they are trying to keep Harry Kane, and I’m sure Conte will get the job done next season. as far as this season goes, the top 4 are still in play for Tottenham, but with them being so inconsistent, it will be a hard task to accomplish.

It’s no secret that Tottenham is the better team here, and I think they will get the win here, but it will be tough. Even though Brighton is in bad form, they will fight hard in this game, but their lack of quality will prevent them from getting the win.
