Chile and Bolivia are playing at Arena Pantanal in round 2 of Group A in the Copa America 2021. Despite missing their best player, Chile has had a solid game against Argentina, and they were undefeated. Once again Bolivia has shown their worst, and they are now without a win in their last 2 games.

Chile is not a bad team, and they certainly can play really well, but they are not known for their flare in soccer, they are known as a hard team that is focusing on their midfield, and without Sanchez, they have no choice but to focus on that.

Bolivia was undefeated in their 2 games in the World Cup qualifications, but in their first game in Copa America against Paraguay, they once again showed their true face. Bolivia has had extremely low 22% of ball possession in that match, only 2 shots on goal, 2 corner kicks, 1 big chance created, and only 67% of the correct passes. As I’ve mentioned, this was Bolivia’s true face, and they didn’t deserve better than to lose this game 3-1. Saavedra is the only goalscorer for Bolivia with 1 goal so far, while Mendoza will miss this game because of the red card. There are a lot of Covid cases in this tournament, and it’s still unknown who will play and who won’t for Bolivia, but it doesn’t really matter as they are a weak team whoever is playing. Bolivia is the weakest team in this group, and as only 1 team is being knocked out at the end of the group stage, I think Bolivia will be that team. There is no offense or defense in Bolivia’s game, and they might get a win only by luck.

Chile is the better team here by far, and in better form, but the price on Chile is not great. I think Chile will win this match because Bolivia is not showing up, but we need to add some juice here to get some value out of Chile.
