Crystal Palace is hosting Arsenal at Selhurst Park in round 31 of the English Premier League. Crystal Palace is in great form right now, they have improved a lot on both ends, but they need to keep doing it now. Arsenal is also in a good form, they are solid defensively, but they will be without Ramsdale on goal most likely.
Palace is undefeated in their last 6 games while winning 4 of those 6 games. Thanks to that great streak, Palace has climbed the standings a bit, and they are now in 12th place with 34 points. When it comes to defending, Palace isn’t bad with 38 conceded goals, but they haven’t been scoring a lot. Crystal Palace has scored 39 goals in 29 games. Of those 39 goals, Zaha has scored 9 for Crystal Palace, while Gallagher has added 8 goals. Olise has added 5 assists. There aren’t any injured players in Crystal Palace, but there are a few questionable players. Crystal Palace is safe from relegation, they will end the season somewhere in the middle of the table, but that’s about all they can do this season.
Arsenal was on a 5-game winning streak, but just before the international break, they have lost to Liverpool. In their last game, however, Arsenal has beaten Aston Villa 0-1 on the road. With this massive improvement in their form, the results have arrived for Arsenal, which means points came as well. Arsenal is now in 5th place with 54 points, which is the same number as Tottenham has in 4th place. I never expected I would say Arsenal is a strong defensive team, but they are with only 31 conceded goals in 28 games. A lot of credit for that goes to their goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale, but he is still questionable for this game. Smith-Rowe and Saka are leading goalscorers for Arsenal with 9 goals each, while Lacazette has added 7 assists. Arsenal is a very talented team, we knew they were capable of playing this well, but it took them a while to get here. The competition for that Champions League spot is very strong, and I think it will come down to the last round.
Both teams are in great form right now, and they are both scoring goals. With Ramsdale being questionable, Crystal Palace has a chance to get something out of this game, which is why I think we will see goals in this one.
