Crystal Palace and Brighton face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Selhurst Park Stadium. When these two teams faced off in January of 2022 the two teams played to a 1-1 draw.

Crystal Palace vs Brighton Odds

Crystal Palace is the underdog sitting at +280 while Brighton is the favorite sitting at +100. The total currently sits at 2.5 goals with the under cashing at -125.

Brighton Betting Preview

Brighton comes into this game sitting 6th place in the standings having picked up 34 points. In the last game against AFC Bournemouth, Brighton scored a goal, and that was enough to secure the 1-0 victory. Kaoru Mitoma scored in the 87th minute and that was the difference maker. Brighton had 72 percent of the possession and six shots on target. Evan Ferguson and Adam Lallana look like they are getting close to a return, but it’s unclear if they are going to be able to go in this game. Alexis Mac Allister was suspended for the last game, but he should move back into the starting lineup here.

On the other side of this matchup is Crystal Palace who sits in 12th place in the standings having picked up 24 points. Last Saturday, Crystal Palace faced off against Manchester United and they were defeated 2-1. Jeffrey Schlupp scored in the 76th minute, but they were already down 2-0 at that point of the game. Wilfried Zaha is dealing with an hamstring injury, and he isn’t going to be able to go. Not having Zaha is a big loss for Crystal Palace. James McArthur, Nathan Ferguson, Joachim Andersen, and Joel Ward are all not expected to be able to go in this game.

Shane’s Free Pick

What Brighton has done this season has been nothing short of impressive, and I expect they are going to continue that success here. Crystal Palace in the last game gave up two goals and they are going to struggle to defend again in this game. Brighton is going to score two goals here, and will secure the victory.
