Crystal Palace Preview

Crystal Palace comes into this game sitting in 12th place in the standings having picked up 22 points. Crystal Palace’s offense really struggled in the last game not scoring only goals and that led to the 1-0 defeat. They had only 37 percent of the possession but they did manage five shots on goal. Crystal Palace has lost three games in a row across all contests. Crystal Palace has scored 17 goals while the defense is giving up 26 goals total. The offense is averaging only 0.94 goals per game. Joachim Andersen suffered a calf injury in the last game and it’s hard to imagine that he’s going to be able to go in this game. Wilfried Zaha is expected to make the start against his former club also.

Manchester United Preview

On the other side of this matchup is Manchester United who sits in 4th place in the standings having picked up 38 points. Manchester United has a ton of confidence heading into this game after their win in the last game. Manchester United managed two goals against Manchester City and ended up securing the victory. Manchester United fell behind in the 60th minute but it was a goal by Bruno Fernandes and another goal by Marcus Rashford in the 82nd minute that was the difference in the victory. Manchester United finished with four shots on target and 29 percent of the possession. Marcus Rashford was a bit banged up in the last game suffering a hip injury, but he could still get the start in this game. Donny van de Beek, Axel Tuanzebe, and Jadon Sancho are all dealing with long term injuries and they won’t be able to go in this game.

Manchester United had quit the win in the last game over Manchester City and they are going to continue the success again in this game. Crystal Palace’s offense has struggled to score all season and they aren’t going to be having a lot of success scoring here. Look for a 2-0 or 2-1 type of game and Manchester United is going to get the job done. Back Manchester United on the money line.
