Crystal Palace and Newcastle United face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Selhurst Park Stadium. When these two teams faced off last November the game ended in a 0-0 draw.

Crystal Palace and Newcastle United Odds

Newcastle is currently -115 on the money line while Crystal Palace is +330 on the money line. The total is currently set at 2.5 goals with the under at -140.

Crystal Palace Preview

Crystal Palace currently sits in 12th place in the standings having picked up 23 points so far this season. In the last game against Manchester United on Wednesday, the game ended in a 1-1 draw. Michael Olise scored in the 91st minute to pick up a point. Crystal Palace only had 39 percent of the possession but they did have five shots on target. Joachim Andersen is dealing with a calf injury and he’s not going to be able to go in this game. Nathan Ferguson and James McArthur are also banged up and they aren’t going to be able to go in this game.

Newcastle United Preview

On the other side of this matchup is Newcastle who sits in 4th place in the standings having picked up 38 points. Last Sunday against Fulham, Newcastle had one goal and that was enough to secure the victory. Alexander Isak scored in the 89th minute and that was enough for the 1-0 victory. Bruno Guimaraes is dealing with an ankle injury and it doesn’t look like he’s going to be able to go in this game. Joelinton has been getting attention for his off-the-pitch issues, but it’s expected that he’s going to still play in this game.

Not having Guimaraes is a big loss for Newcastle United and they are going to really struggle to get quality scoring chances in this game. Crystal Palace is also going to have issues getting quality scoring chances and this game is going to be very low scoring. Don’t be shocked if this game ends 0-0. Back the under to cash.
