Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Bayern Munich 2/26/22 Bundesliga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Eintracht Frankfurt is welcoming Bayern Munich to Deutsche Bank Park in round 24 of the German Bundesliga. Eintracht has failed to score in their last 2 games, but they are still a good team that can definitely play nice soccer. Bayern has an important Champions League game, they have a few important injuries here, and Borussia has gotten really close to the in Bundesliga.

Eintracht has improved a lot since the start of the season, on both ends, but not scoring in 3 of their last 5 games is not a good thing. Eintracht also hasn’t scored in their last 2 games in a row. Overall, Eintracht has scored 33 goals, they have conceded 35 goals, and they are now in 10^th place with 31 points. Eintracht still has a few injuries, but they are getting Kostic back, and that will be a nice addition for them in this game. Borre might be the leading goalscorer for Eintracht with 6 goals, but Kostic has 8 assists, and without him, Eintracht is not having a good time. Ache and Ramaj are both injured. Eintracht has drawn Betis in the Europa League, and that will be a tough matchup for them, but it’s winnable.

Bayern hasn’t been at their best lately, they tied to Salzburg in the Champions League, while they got beat by Bochum before that. Luckily for Bayern, they were able to beat Greuther Furth last weekend, and the score was 4-1. Still at the top of the table with 55 points, but Bayern has to be careful because Borussia is only 6 points behind, and with them not playing in the Europa League anymore, Borussia can focus on Bundesliga. Bayern is the best offensive team in the league, probably the best offensive team in Europe with 74 scored goals, but they are conceding too many goals this season. Bayern has conceded 26 goals in 23 games, which doesn’t seem like much, but on the road, Bayern is a defensive garbage can. Muller and Tolisso have joined Neuer, Davies, and Goretzka on the injury list, but they will probably be ready for the Champions League. Lewandowski is still the leading goalscorer for Bayern with 28 goals, while Muller has added 17 assists. Bayern will most likely rest some players here, but the good news is they are playing at home in the Champions League, and not having to travel is a huge deal.

Eintracht has had success against Bayern at home, and they might very well score here, but I just don’t see them winning. Bayern needs a win to stay ahead of Borussia, and I think they will get it.
