Eintracht Frankfurt vs. RB Leipzig 10/30/21 Bundesliga Soccer Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Eintracht Frankfurt is hosting RB Leipzig at Commerzbank Arena in round 10 of the German Bundesliga. Eintracht is not doing well this season, but they are slowly improving, I just hope it won’t take them too long. If we take a look at Leipzig’s results, it would look terrible, but in reality, it’s not, and the only problem is Leipzig’s inconsistency.

Eintracht has lost 2 of their last 3 games, and they are only 2 points above the relegation zone, which is quite frankly embarrassing for this team. Eintracht has scored only 9 goals so far this season while conceding 14 goals, and they have only 1 win in 9 games. In their last Bundesliga game, Eintracht was playing against Bochum on the road, and they haven’t had a good game. Eintracht has had 59% of ball possession, 6 shots on goal, 7 corner kicks, 2 big chances created, and 76% of the correct passes. Despite all the chances, Eintracht couldn’t score a goal, and they ended up losing this game 2-0. Eintracht’s best player is Kostic with 2 goals and 3 assists, but that is nowhere early enough to be consistently winning. Now when Eintracht doesn’t have any injuries, they need to snap out of this slump, but I doubt it will happen at once, I just hope they will be patient.

I know I have been saying a lot that Leipzig is in terrible form, but honestly, it’s not as bad as it looks. Leipzig is still in the Champions League hunt, and even though the season is basically over for them in that competition, they can still salvage the Bundesliga. With 14 points, 20 scored goals, and 9 conceded goals in 9 games, Leipzig is in 6^th place, and they are now only 3 points away from the top 4. Earlier this week, Leipzig has won their DFB Pokal match, but now they need to focus on Bundesliga. Nkunku has been the best player for Leipzig with 4 goals and 2 assists, while Forsberg added another 4 goals. The good news for Leipzig is Olmo is coming back, and that will certainly give this team more offensive variety. In their last Bundesliga game, Leipzig was hosting Furth, and even though it’s not the strongest opponent, Leipzig has played one of their best games this season. with 57% of ball possession, 5 shots on goal, 3 corner kicks, 2 big chances created, and 78% of the correct passes, Leipzig was the better team, and they have deservedly won this game 4-1. Now that Bayern is out of the DFB Pokal, this is the perfect opportunity for Leipzig to win this trophy, but they need to start winning more consistently.

Neither team is playing well enough for me to put big money on them, but Eintracht is the weaker team, they are in worse form, and for that reason, I will take Leipzig and goals.
