FC Porto vs. Atletico Madrid 11/1/22 UEFA Champions League Soccer Pick, Predictions, Odds

FC Porto and Atlético Madrid face off on Tuesday in a Group B UEFA Champions League showdown at Estádio do Dragão.

When these two teams faced off on September 7th it was Atlético Madrid that secured the 2-1 victory. All three goals in that game were scored after the 91st minute. On the other side of this matchup is Atlético Madrid, who sits in 3rd place in the group having picked up five points. Last Wednesday, Atlético Madrid faced off against Leverkusen, and that game ended in a 2-2 draw. Rodrigo de Paul scored in the 50th minute, to secure a point. They had 64 percent of the possession and 10 shots on target. On Saturday, they faced off against Cadiz, and they were defeated 3-2. Thomas Lemar, Koke, and Marcos Llorente all missed the last game with injury and won’t be able to go in this game. 

The last time these two teams faced off, there weren’t any goals scored until the 91st minute. In this game, I don’t expect a ton of scoring chances by either team, and Atlético Madrid is going to do everything in their power to at least secure a draw.
