As far as Bundesliga standings go, Union Berlin is in 6^th place with 34 points, they have conceded 27 goals in 21 games which isn’t bad at all, while they scored 29 goals. After this game against Borussia, Union’s schedule is getting a bit easier, but there is no time to relax. Awoniyi has scored 9 goals for Union so far this season, while Kruse has added 5 goals and 4 assists. Khedira is the only missing player for Union Berlin, and that is because of the suspension. As I’ve mentioned, Union has been outstanding at home this season, and I think they are good enough to keep that going.

Borussia can outscore anyone, but they just couldn’t outscore Leverkusen last week, and the worst thing is they were the home team. Yes, Borussia is without Haaland at the moment who is injured, but to lose 2-5 at home is tragic. We talked about Borussia’s defense before, and they are just not doing anything to make it better. Sure, Borussia is looking for solid defenders for next season, and they did already sign Sule from Bayern, but they need more. Even after that loss last weekend, Borussia is still in 2^nd place in the Bundesliga standings with 43 points, but there is no way in hell they can catch up to Bayern. Morey, Schmeltzer, and Haaland are injured for Borussia Dortmund. Haaland is leading Borussia with 16 goals and 6 assists, but it’s getting clearer he will be leaving at the end of this season. Overall, Borussia is playing well, they are dominant in most of their games, but once again, their defense is bad.

Union Berlin has had a lot of success against Borussia Dortmund, and the home team has been dominant in this matchup, and I think they might get a positive result here. I see goals, but I will give this one a shot with Union Berlin.
