Fulham and Aston Villa face off on Thursday in an English Premier League showdown at Craven Cottage. When these two teams faced off on April 4th it was Aston Villa that secured the 3-1 victory.

Fulham comes into this game sitting in 12th place in the standings having picked up 12 points. Fulham in the last game came against AFC Bournemouth and the game ended in a 2-2 draw. Fulham fell behind early in that game, but it was goals in the 22nd minute and 52nd minute that were the difference as Fulham got the job done. Issa Dip scored the goal in the 22nd minute. Fulham had 69 percent of the possession and four shots on target. Manor Solomon, Layvin Kurzawa, and Kenny Tete are all dealing with injuries, and they won’t be able to go in this game. Nathaniel Chalobah is also still dealing with a suspension and won’t be able to go here.

On the other side of this matchup is Aston Villa, who sit in 16th place in the standings having picked up nine points. In Aston Villa’s last game against Chelsea, the defense gave up two goals and the offense couldn’t find the back of the net. Aston Villa had 41 percent of the possession and seven shots on target. Diego Carlos and Boubacar Kamara are all dealing with injuries, and they won’t be able to go in this game. Tyrone Mings is a little banged up, but it’s expected that he’s going to be able to go in this game.

Fulham has been a much better team at home this season, and I don’t trust Aston Villa to find a lot of success scoring here. Look for Fulham to score at least two goals against Aston Villa’s offense, and that is going to be the difference as Fulham gets the job done. Back Fulham on the money line.
