Napoli is on a fantastic run, and they are undefeated in their last 14 games while winning their last 6 in a row.

Genoa was struggling last season, but they have made a nice push as the season was ending, and they ended in 11^th place. Genoa wasn’t a threat to Inter in this game, and they conceded 2 goals in each half. The final score was 4-0 in favor of Inter. Bani is the only injured player for Genoa at the moment. On paper, Genoa is a great team, but unless they can stay consistent for the bigger part of the season, Genoa will once again find themselves at the bottom of the standings and with a lot of pressure on them.

As I’ve mentioned, Napoli is in brilliant form, and they have been beating everyone who came at them. In their preseason and first round of Serie A, Napoli has scored 22 goals while conceding only 2 goals in their last 6 games. Napoli was hosting Venezia in their season opener, and they were a much better team with 56% of ball possession, 4 shots on goal, 2 corner kicks, 3 big chances created, and 89% of the correct passes. Napoli has conceded a red card in the 22^nd minute, but they have stilled scored 2 goals in the second half, and they ended up winning this match 2-0. Insigne has missed a penalty in this game, but he has later scored one, while Elams scored another goal. Ghoulam, Mertens, Demme, and Ounas are injured, while Osimhen is suspended because of the red card. Zielinski should be ready for this match. With Spalletti at the helm, Napoli is playing really well, they are scoring a ton of goals, and I honestly think they have the team to compete for the title.

Napoli is in much better form, and they seem unbeatable at the moment. Genoa is not a bad team, and as we saw from last season, they can win the game when they put their heads together, but I don’t think this game will end as they want it to. I’m taking Napoli on the road.
