Granada has been playing well as of late, they are scoring a lot of goals at home, and they have a decent shot in this game. Atletico is in a slump, they are on a 3-game losing streak in LaLiga, and their defense is just terrible this season.

Granada is still close to the relegation zone, in 15^th place with 19 points, but thanks to their streak, they have gained some distance. Granada has lost only 1 of their last 6 games, and they have scored in 5 of their last 6 games. I know we can’t expect big things from Granada, but they are good enough to secure their LaLiga spot for next season without any problems, and I think they will.

As I’ve mentioned, Atletico is on a losing streak in LaLiga, and their latest loss was against Sevilla on the road. The good news for Atletico is they have now played against all the big teams, and hopefully, brighter days are ahead for this team. With 29 points, Atletico is now in 5^th place, which is outside the Champions League zone, but I think they will get there by the end of the season. offensively, Atletico is solid with 28 scored goals, while their defense is sloppy, inconsistent, and is making a lot of mistakes. Atletico has already conceded 20 goals this season. Suarez is the leading goalscorer for Atletico with 7 goals, while Correa added 4 goals and 4 assists. Savic, Griezmann, and Llorente are injured, Gimenez and Vrsaljko are questionable. Atletico needs to take a long and hard look at themselves right now, they need to get their heads together, and they need to start playing better on both ends, especially on the defensive end. We all know Atletico is a good team with great players, and we all know they can do a lot better than this, but they need to start showing that, maybe this break will do them some good.
