Inter is hosting Sassuolo at Giuseppe Meazza in round 26 of the Italian Serie A. Inter is still playing well, but their defense is not as solid as it was, and that is their biggest problem right now. Sassuolo can compete with the best of them when it comes to scoring goals, but they also can’t defend really well this season.

Inter is now without a win in their last 2 games, and they lost to Liverpool in the Champions League earlier this week, but with Milan not beating Salernitana, Inter has the opportunity to take over the top of the table in Serie A once again. Inter is a massive favorite in this game, but one of their most important figures is suspended, and I talk about Marcelo Brozovic. Offensively, Martinez and Dzeko have been playing really well together, and Martinez has 11 goals while Dzeko added 10 goals. Calhanoglu has added 8 assists. Correa, Gosens, and Bastoni are injured. Inter might be a bit tired in this game, but overall, they are a great team that has to bounce back after that loss to Liverpool, and I think this is a good spot for them.

Sassuolo is winless in their last 4 games, while they have only 1 win in their last 6 games, but they are getting Scamacca back for this match. Scamacca is Sassuolo’s second-best goalscorer with 9 goals, while Berardi has 10 goals and 10 assists. Sassuolo is a good team, a very attractive team, but with a bad defense, and that is keeping them down, to be honest. Sassuolo has conceded 44 goals, and they are now in 12^th place with 20 points. Their offense o the other hand has been amazing with 41 scored goals, but they can do only so much with that. Overall, Sassuolo is a great team, fantastic at home, but they need to improve their defense as soon as possible, which is sadly not going to happen this season. Sassuolo will be staying in the league, that’s for sure, but there is nothing more we can expect from them.

Inter has only 1 loss at home so far this season, and they haven’t lost any of their last 3 games against Sassuolo. I think Sassuolo will get on the scoreboard here, I’m counting on it, but I don’t think they can win despite Inter playing in the Champions League earlier this week.
