Juventus vs. Cagliari 12/21/21 Serie A Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Juventus is welcoming Cagliari to Allianz Stadium in round 19 of the Italian Serie A. Juventus is not scoring a lot of goals, they are sloppy defensively, but they are still managing to win games. Cagliari is fighting for their lives this season, they are in the relegation zone, and their defense is crap.

Juventus is not doing great in Serie A this season, but they seem to be improving, but very slowly. The good news for Juventus is they are conceding less than a goal per game, but they are not scoring a lot, 25 goals in 18 games. In their last game, Juventus was playing against Bologna on the road, and they have won that game 0-2 with a nice and dominant performance. Morata and Dybala are still the leading goalscorers for Juventus with 5 goals each, while Dybala also has 3 assists. There are a few injured players in Juventus, but the one they are missing the most is Chiesa, probably the best player on this team. Juventus will not win the title, that much is clear, but as far as the Champions League goes, I guess we just need to wait and see what will happen.

Cagliari is not playing well, on either end, and with 38 conceded goals, only 17 scored goals, and with only 10 points, Cagliari is now in 19^th place in the Serie A standings. Not only Cagliari is one of the weakest offensive teams, but they are also one of the worst defensive teams as well, and their situation is not looking good right now. There is still enough time for Cagliari to turn things around, but something would need to change drastically in this team, and I don’t see it happening. Joao Pedro is the only bright spot for this team right now, and he is their leading goalscorer with 9 goals and 3 assists. Apart from Pedro, there is no one else on this team capable of scoring, and that is their biggest problem. Cagliari also has a few injuries, but that should be of such importance for a Serie A team. Cagliari will spend the entire season on the bottom, they will be fighting for their life, and I know they can save themselves, but the question is if they will.

Juventus is the favorite here, but as we know, they are not scoring a lot. I don’t think Cagliari can jeopardize Juventus here, but they might step up defensively. I’m taking Juventus, and the under, which is something I rarely do.
