Kosovo and Cyprus face off on Tuesday in a League C Group 2 showdown at Priština City Stadium. When these two teams faced off on June 2nd it was Kosovo that secured the 2-0 victory. 

Kosovo comes into this game sitting in second place in the standings, having picked up six points. On Saturday, Kosovo faced off against Northern Ireland, and the defense struggled, giving up two goals and which led to the one-goal defeat. Kosovo had 52 percent of the possession and seven shots on goal, but it wasn’t enough. Edon Zhegrova is dealing with an injury, and he won’t be able to go in this game. Valon Berisha also didn’t play on Saturday, but he was healthy and could end up getting the start here. In this game, Kosovo needs to find a way to get the offense going. 

On the other side of this matchup is Cyprus, who sits in 4th place in the standings having picked up six points. Cyprus faced off against Greece, and it only took one goal to secure the victory. Cyprus had 29 percent of the possession and only two shots on goal, but they were the team that scored, and that led to the 1-0 victory. Greece had 71 percent of the possession and five shots on goal. Cyprus is expected to start the same lineup that was able to secure the 1-0 victory. 

Cyprus has never won a game away from home in the Nations League, and it’s not going to change here. They really got lucky winning on Saturday, but the luck is going to be different in this game.
