Leeds United vs. Chelsea 5/11/22 EPL Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Leeds United is welcoming Chelsea to Elland Road in round 33 of the English Premier League. Leeds is still in the fight for their lives, and with a win here they would have gotten out of the relegation zone. Chelsea is looking to secure the Champions League spot, and if they don’t do it here, I’m sure they will do it in one of the remaining games.

Leeds was on a nice roll, they were undefeated in 5 games, but they are now on a 2-game losing streak that could easily cost them the EPL spot for next season. with 34 points, Leeds is now in 18^th place, which is in the relegation zone, but Leeds has the same number of points as Burnley has above them. Ever since the season started, Leeds has had a lot of injury problems, and that is still going on. Leeds is a great team, but all the injuries they have are killing them. With 10 scored goals, Raphinha is the leading goalscorer for Leeds, while Harrison has added 7 goals. After this game, Leeds has to play against Brighton and Brentford, and those are games they can win, but they will need a lot of luck as well to stay in the league.

Chelsea is without a win in their last 3 games, but they are still in 3^rd place with 67 points, which is only 1 point more than Arsenal has. With a win here, Chelsea will secure the Champions League spot, and honestly, it is happening a lot harder than expected. Chelsea is also getting new owners in the next few weeks, and they have already announced the reconstruction of the team and investing a lot of money in it. Chilwell and Hudson-Odoi are injured, while Kante and Jorginho are still questionable. Mount has been Chelsea’s best player with 10 goals and 9 assists, while Lukaku and Havertz have added 7 goals each. Chelsea will also be playing in the FA Cup finals against Liverpool this season, and that is the chance for them to win a trophy this season. as far as their last two games of the season go, Chelsea will play against Leicester and Watford, and as I’ve said, I’m pretty sure they will secure the Champions League spot in one of those 2 games if they don’t do it in this one.

The trends are pretty even here, and neither team is playing well, which is why I see goals in this one. Leeds has to go for the win, they need to try and score goals, and I think they will succeed, but they can’t defend.
