Leicester City and Brighton face off on Saturday in an English Premier League soccer showdown at King Power Stadium. When these two teams faced off in September of 2022 it was Brighton that secured the 5-2 victory.

Leicester City and Brighton Odds

Brighton currently sits as the favorite at +110 while Leicester City is currently +245 as the underdog. The total sits at 2.5 with the over at -120.

Leicester City Preview

Leicester City currently sits in 15th place in the standings having picked up 17 points. Leicester City has really struggled heading into this game and they are coming off another loss in the last game. They gave up goals in the 56th and 86th minute against Nottingham Forest and that led to the 2-0 defeat. Leicester City had 61 percent of the possession and one shot on target. One big issue for Leicester City is they have dealt with a ton of injuries in the last couple of months. Ricardo Pereira, Ryan Bertrand, James Justin, Jonny Evans, and Boubakary Soumare are all still dealing with injuries and won’t be able to go here. James Maddison might be back though and that would be a huge boost for this team.

Brighton Preview

On the other side of this matchup is Brighton who sits in 7th place in the standings having picked up 30 points. Brighton have found a ton of success this season and they are coming off quite the victory. Against Liverpool, Brighton scored three goals and that was enough to secure the victory. Solly March had a big game scoring in the 47th and 53rd minute. Brighton had 61 percent of the possession and nine shots on target. Trossard has left the club and probably won’t be on the team for much longer. Jakub Moder is still dealing with a knee injury and he’s going to be out at least a couple more weeks.

Even if Maddison is back for Leicester City, that isn’t going to be enough for them. This Leicester City defense is an issue, and they are going to really struggle to defend again here. Look for Brighton to score two or three goals and this is going to be a very comfortable victory for them. Back Brighton -1.5 to cash here.
