Leicester City and Manchester United face off on Thursday in an English Premier League showdown at King Power Stadium. When these two teams faced off on April 2nd the two teams played to a 1-1 draw. 

Leicester City has really struggled this season, and they currently sit in last place in the Premier League, having picked up a point. Leicester City opened up the season with a draw against Brentford, but since that point, it’s been a struggle. In the last game against Chelsea, they had a man advantage for over 60 minutes of the game, but it still wasn’t enough as they were defeated 2-1. Leicester City had 55 percent of the possession and five shots on goal. Leicester City has scored six goals this season, while their defense has given up ten goals. James Maddison has been the top goalscorer finding the back of the net twice this season. In this game, Leicester City needs to get the offense going. 

On the other side of this matchup is Manchester United, who sit in 8th place in the standings having picked up six points. Manchester United got out to a slow start to the season, but they are playing well heading into this game, having won two games in a row. Two games ago they beat Liverpool 2-1, and in the last game Southampton they beat Manchester United 1-0. In the last game, it was Bruno Fernandes who scored a goal in the 55th minute and that was enough to secure the victory. Manchester United had 52 percent of the possession and six shots on goal. Manchester United has scored only four goals this season, but the hope is they can run up the score against Leicester City. 

Leicester City’s offense clearly has some issues right now, and it’s not going to get any easier going against Manchester United. Look for Man United to score two or three goals and that will be the difference as they get the job done here. Man United should really be minus money here, and getting them at plus money is the best bet on the board. Back Manchester United.
